Star San from Five Star Chemicals is the industry-standard no-rinse sanitizer for homebrewing and professional craft production. Its unique blend of phosphoric acid and dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid creates a low-pH surface coating that eliminates bacteria and wild yeast on contact, without requiring a rinse. Don't fear the foam: the fine white foam Star San produces is harmless to your beer and actually helps sanitize hard-to-reach surfaces. A 30-second contact time is all you need. Make up a solution, soak your equipment, and go straight to filling.
